A day late, and at 5' 2" always short, but....most of the time I eventually get to what I've committed to!! IN this case, it was finally having time to put up my blog link-up to this fantastic weekly blog-o-feature, Embrace the Ordinary!!
Please be sure to check out Gina, and her fabulous musings at somedaysaints.com - this is one of my favorite blog-stops each week!
For someone who hosts a radio show called, Catholic 24/7 with the tag line: "sharing stories and insights of living as a Catholic in our everyday life", this seemed a match made - dare I say it... in Heaven ;))
So here is my pondering of my ordinary life (this week anyway)...
OK...calling my life "ordinary" probably made a few people laugh, my life can appear on the outside to be anything but ordinary. It is however - thankfully - just that (most of the time). In case anyone is still wonderful about it -- I will muse about the not so ordinary (my recent California business/pleasure trip) later this week.
My big deal this week was celebrating of my 25th wedding anniversary! Kevin and I started to date when we were teenagers. Most days I can't believe the blessing that God choose him for me. Trust me though there are also days when I wonder what was God thinking!! We are so different! Are you and your significant other a case of "opposites attract"? Kevin likes to fish, hike, canoe and camp. I basically dislike outside. I love to travel, and although flying isn't my favorite activity - I'll deal to get where I want to go. Currently I want that to visit: Italy; Fatima, Portugal; and Poland. Kevin said when we landed after our last (very short) flight, "that is the last time you'll find me on an airplane." Anyone want to go on a pilgrimage with me??
