Quick Post --- The very reason I joined the #Write31Days challenge is perfectly illustrated by the fact that it is only DAY 6 and I am already falling behind in my writing. LIFE IS crazy!! It is not easy for me to discipline myself to write - consistently. I love to write, and am BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE that the Lord has chosen this gift for me.
I love that I have this very tangible gauge of when I have gone off track, this is perfect for me to reevaluate my priorities and work habits! Yesterday, however, I took the day not to peruse Facebook or nap but to visit the major relic of St. Maria Goretti and to host my weekly bible study gals group (aka the Bible Babes). In between these 2 events I fed my family, helped my daughter with homework and read a book that I had the great pleasure of reviewing today (The Sweetest Rain Blog Tour!).
Today brings a live radio show in 1/2 hour that I quite honestly am not 100% sure what I will be talking about, then recording a show for later this week and a much overdue super cool course I need to finish writing so that we can get it available for the taking. SO, while I want so much to do dive back into the journals and talk about forgiveness and reconciliation - that will have to wait until tomorrow.
So today's probing question -- what did you hope to accomplish yesterday and what did you actually get complete? I am not going to fret - I figure if you awake every day and give you day to God, then the plan that gets executed is ultimately His. That does not mean I won't still evaluate the to do list and make sure I didn't do anything to derail the Big Guy's best laid plans!!
