School! On Tuesday, I will be sitting in a classroom for the first time in over 10 years!! I'm kind of giddy with excitement (cuz I'm a nerd). I am taking Spirituality for the Lay Minister at The Institute for the New Evangelization in Brighton,MA. This ~~>> is how I remember being in a classroom (ok maybe NOT this long ago but... it was definitely before everyone had a laptop in front of them). The temptation to room the internet too much so I'll be the old lady dork with the notebook and pen!
Evangelizing Catholics by Scott Hahn
On Chapter 5 & Loving it!
**I will be using it as the source for several upcoming Blog posts on Social Media Evangelization. Fantastic insights for all Catholics to set up and share why they love their faith and what God has done/is doing in their life!
Listening To: Kickin' it old school ... this song was seriously rambling around my head, finally had to go such YouTube to have a listen. Then, to my delight, I found this awesome clip of nostalgia. I was only 7 when this first aired on TV, but they stayed around for a bit, as I was able to see them in concert in the last 80s, along with America;
Watching: NASCAR! Just finished soaking up the Coke 600 - longest race of the year. My driver did not fair very well but he is still doing better than my beloved Red Sox, but not as well as #1 New England Revolution!
Thankful For Catholic 24/7... which is also leads to another Thinking About:
This week's episode of Catholic 24/7 - my radio show on Radio CorMariae, airing Wed 7 pm. (available online or on the Radio CorMariae App)
Each week I chat for about an hour about different every day aspects of the Catholic faith. I will speak on Forgiveness this week - I am not sure which idea I want to roll with next either Trust (including the subtopics of worry and anxiety) or Prayer (novenas and devotions). I will eventually get to each, and much more I hope. Feeling the natural progression is Trust. Hoping God reveals His desired topic in Adoration Tuesday!
