ly Week went incredibly fast. Lent went incredibly fast for that matter! We are still on Easter day - as it is celebrated as an octave ... or as my Pastor says, "8 days celebrated as 1 GREAT day!" So where did I see some success?
2. Kevin and I were able to complete our penitential visits to the 7 Churches or more specifically to the Altars of Repose housed in the 7 churches we visited. Here we adored Jesus and prayed for friends, family, our world and asked for forgiveness of our sins. HOWEVER, between visits, I was a bit like a kid on a field trip with my best friends The freedom of time with friends and the joy of the season to come may have masked my focus in the car. While past years we'd prayed the Rosary or discuss the first Holy Thursday events - I'll fess up that this time I was drinking my Dunkins' coffee and chatting away!
**It is good to share my small failures now and then too!
