LentenWalk week 5

#BEGINNING

For years I only visited LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro, MA for Christmas when it is decorated with thousands of lights for Christmas.  Weather permitting we’d ascend these stairs on our knees. Our prayer per stair would grow shorter with each step.
On a whim, my husband and I visited during Springtime and that is when I discovered two amazing things about these stairs.  First, when it is warm outside they are not as hard! Second, it way more prayerful when not surrounded by millions of people or when worrying about frostbite.  This Lent (or Easter) considering visiting your favorite or discovering a new holy place off season!

#SPRING

Dandelions: Vibrant, Tenacious and Everywhere !  Exactly HOW I want to be in sharing my love of the Catholic Faith. I want this to be my “Saint Flower” – because in there death a dandelion has the capacity to spread itself even further! It is so not a weed.
