Lenten Photo Challenge Week 6

#HowWeLent

Just as I did during Advent (#SnapAdvent), I created an Instagram photo challenge on for this Lent. Each image related to a chapter in Walk in Her Sandals used for the WINE Lenten Book Club. Here are some of my images from the Week Six #LentenWalk Challenge. Want to see what others did? Search using  #LentenWalkon Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!!

#FLOWER

This beautiful rose came from a bouquet placed upon my Father-in-Law, Henry’s grave when he passed away in October, 2015.  It was so perfect, I had to preserve it not only with this photo but I also dried it out. Roses, for me, are a very powerful connection to the intercession of the Saints.

#HAPPINESS

Time alone in the Church between 12 to 3 pm on Good Friday to contemplate St. John’s devotion and heroic actions at the foot of the cross. ~ Role Model of Faith!

#LIGHT

Faith with candle

Faith made this fancy Paschal Candle (aka Christ Candle or Easter Candle) with the help of her dad using materials in her new The Mass BoxSubscription.  **First box sent for fair review – I have since signed up for 3 more months.  Kits relate to each Sunday’s Gospel; each was fun and easy to complete.
